Skoda teases Rapid Spaceback estate | Technology

The Rapid Spaceback is a more practical alternative to the regular Rapid.

Skoda will soon reveal the Rapid Spaceback, an all-new estate version based on the regular Rapid. The carmaker has released a couple of teasers, offering a preview of the rear-end design of the upcoming model.

The Rapid Spaceback will be offered with the same set engine option as the regular model. The 1.2-litre TSI, 1.4-litre TSI and the 1.6-litre TDI will be available with both manual and dual-clutch automatic gearbox options.       

Skoda is said to reveal the Rapid Spaceback at the 2013 edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show. Stay tuned as full details and specs will be available following the official unveiling.
