Going by some critical reviews and first day mixed talk, one will think ending up Gopichand's 'Sahasam' is just an ordinary movie with average collections at Box Office. But here are true figures to prove that there is something else.
After a long time action hero Gopichand has come up with a film at Box Office and that too with a different concept. Also director Chandrasekhar Yeleti too came up with another interesting movie after years. No doubt 'Sahasam' is a technically brilliant movie sans those commercially viable elements like glamour and comedy. But still, Yeleti and Gopi are able to hold the nerve of audiences with their new generation Hollywood like content and of course some cliched logics. Anyway all this talk happens once people watch the film, and we have to see how many are watching it in the first place. Provided with the not so aggressive promotion, Sahasam is still holding records for Gopichand's career, becoming the highest grosser among all of his films released till date.
Sahasam Day one Shares are as follows: Nizam 93L, Ceeded 72L, Uttarandhra -19L, East Godavari-18L, West Godavari-14L, Nellore -12L, Krishna-16L, Guntur-22L. This includes to a total of 2.66 crores for the producer on day one. If these figures are true, then no doubt Sahasam is a hit for now. By Monday we'll come to know the actual scene anyway.
