Ace filmmaker Sri Raghava (7/G Brindavan Colony, Aadavari Matalaku Ardhale Verule fame) was recently hospitalized for cardiac related issues and severe gastric infection.
The director's wife Gitanjali revealed what her husband has said to her while lying on the hospital bed - "Holding my hand on his way to his Angiogram he said: Baby they're right. Smoking & Alcohol kills you".
Interestingly, the recent hospitalization has only helped Sri Raghava to realize what he is losing due to his unhealthy habits. Finally, he quit smoking and drinking to keep himself fit. "Can't explain how great I feel without cigarettes and alcohol. Feel fresh and energetic. My health scare was a blessing in disguise," declares the director.
Doctors have advised Sri Raghava to take one month bed rest. It is learnt that the director has asked his technical crew to continue the post-production work of his upcoming biggie 'Varna' which stars Anushka and Arya in the lead to release the film on time.
