In the recent past, Trisha has been part of couple of woman-centric films and a Tamil romantic comedy opposite Jeeva (Rangam fame). Critics have expected her to join the league of Shriya and Charmee who were now approached only for item numbers or small budget female oriented films.
Much to everyone's surprise, Trisha bagged a biggie opposite one of the top stars in South India. She is playing the female lead in Suriya and Gautham Menon much-awaited Telugu-Tamil bilingual 'Dhruva Natchithiram'.
