Raghavendra Rao's Cinemax to be seized

Veteran filmmaker K Raghavendra Rao is going to face the biggest crisis of his life for constructing commercial complex in the land allotted to him by state government for the development of Film Industry.

Actually, Government issued a GO ordering the authorities to allot 2-acres of land in a posh locality (Banjara Hills) for K Raghavendra Rao for building a re-recording studio and other infrastructure that would benefit Film Industry. Instead, the director began the construction of commercial complex in 2006. Immediately, Information and Public Relations department have then issued notices to KRR to stop the construction. In return, the veteran challenged this in High Court which rejected his appeal. When the Hyderabad district collector issued notices regarding the construction, KRR assured that he wouldn't be using the land for commercial purposes. However, he went ahead to build multiplex and other outlets which would be useful for commercial purposes.

Now, Hyderabad district collector has recommended to the Information and Public Relations department to seize the land allotted to the director. The department immediately sent the report to the government seeking approval. The fate of KRR will now depend on the one signature of CM Kiran Kumar Reddy approving the seize. If that happens, Darsakendrudu will be in big trouble as he has poured most of his hard-earned money and borrowed a lot from financiers for the construction of the building and the world-class infrastructure in it!
