Meher Ramesh, the so-called star director, who managed to get the call sheets of top stars and lavish budgets since the very beginning of his career failed to deliver a single solid hit till date. While Kantri and Billa found a place in the average slots, Shakti and Shadow ended up as disasters.
Apparently, Meher was supposed to direct Raviteja's 'Power' post 'Shadow' for Welfare Creations banner. However, the production house backed out after the dud result of 'Shadow' at the Box Office. Venky's stylish entertainer was declared as one of the badly made films in the recent times. Despite spending a budget of over Rs 30 crore, Meher hasn't delivered a decent product and the film didnot earn satisfactory openings as well.
As there is no one to offer him an opportunity, Meher finally knocked the door of Pawan Kalyan who is his distant relative (cousin) only to find a breather. Powerstar hasn't taken much time to give his nod for the project after hearing the narration and asked the troubled filmmaker to come up with a bound script. We have to wait and watch to know if Pawan will be another victim or Meher delivers his first big success!
