Erica Fernandes, who was speculated to be the leading lady in Nandamuri Balakrishna's next, has clarified that she has not signed any Telugu film. The buzz has it saying that the former Miss India would be romancing Balayya in his forthcoming flick to be directed by Boyapati Sreenu. However, Erica quashed all rumors by taking to her micro blogging account.

"Well i would like to make a clarification here about the rumors of me doing a movie opposite balakrishna. This is a wrong rumor. I havn't committed for a telugu movie opposite balakrishna. The news is untrue :)" (sic), posted Erica.

The quest for the female lead is still on and those in the know say that a formal announcement is expected to be out soon on the film's heroine. The action entertainer, which was launched on June 10 to coincide with Balakrishna's birthday, has tunes composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
