Kona Venkat to debut as Director with Pawan Kalyan Film

In Telugu Industry, the writers set new trend in Tollywood by wielding a megaphone besides a pen. Recently, Kona Venkat name has been surfaced in Industry that he is going to step into the shoes of Director soon. Writer Koratala Siva made debut in Tollywood as director with blockbuster hit film 'Mirchi'. With the inspiration of successful writers-turned-directors, Kona Venkat is planning to turn as director in Tollywood. It is heard that he has already prepared a good script for his debut film.

Kona Venkat, who penned a script for several successful films, is all set to don a hat of Director. The latest buzz in film circle is that Pawan Kalyan, who is close friend to Kona Venkat, has given nod to direct him. Before he venture into big ticket film director, he is planning to direct short films to hone up his directorial skills.  

He has already prepared a script for the New York based short film. The film will be produced by Vamsi Madiraju and Ram Goli. More details are awaited.
