Usually, a doctor's son becomes doctor, actor's son turns an actor and director's son tests his luck as a director. However, Akash who is the son of ace filmmaker Puri Jagannath wishes to be a hero.
When asked why he preferred acting over direction, Akash opines direction isn't something everyone could attempt and states he has witnessed the amount of torture his father has been undergoing daily. Acting bug bit him at a very young age and the teenager always want to face the camera rather than standing behind it.
Akash claims to be having three goals in his life:
1) His launch vehicle as hero in the direction of his father.
2) Gifting a Rolls Royce to Puri.
3) Wants to become a mass hero like Rajinikanth.
Puri Jagannath has never imposed any restrictions on Akash though he is yet to reach the age of taking decisions on own. He liked the performance of his son in the films like 'Dhoni' and 'Gabbar Singh' very much. This crazy filmmaker has become a role model for fathers who wants their children to follow their heart.
