Singer, actress Suchitra Krishnamoorthy reveals about how Ram Gopal Varma rejected her marriage proposal in her book 'Drama Queen' in which she revealed many other incidents in her life.
Suchitra and Ramu was having close acquaintance during 2000 when they were working on ‘My Wife’s Murder’ and ‘Rann’ when Suchitra expressed her intention to marry Ram Gopal Varma by sending a text message to him. After making her waiting for a long one day Ramu called her and said this:
"Suchitra I think you have misunderstood me. Completely. We are not similar at all. Never. I don't believe in the institution of marriage. I do not like women's brains. In my opinion, a woman should be seen and not heard."
As the relation between Suchitra and Ram Gopal Varma was never made public at any time, the above revelation of the relation and rejection caught many by surprise.
Suchitra also says that RGV’s permission is taken for making the incident public through her book.
