Singam (Yamudu 2) is a dubbed version of Tamil movie Singam 2. It is an action - masala movie directed by Hari, starring Surya, Anushka Shetty and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles, while Vivek and Santhanam play supporting roles. This movie is the sequel to Yamudu. All set to Release Singam on July 5th
Review : The film is racy at 2 hours and 45 minutes. The scenes in the first half are pure commercial , blended with action , comedy and romance. Songs are well placed at the right time. The second half is filled with an interesting action plot.
The songs 'Kannukulle' and 'Singam Dance' were picturised well and hummable. Devi Sri Prasad’s music is serviceable. The action scenes are well choreographed by Anal Arasu , especially the rain-fight , harbour fight and the fight scene filmed at South Africa. The fight sequences are one of the highlights of the film. The film had number of villains like Rahman , Rajendran , Danny Sapani and Mukesh Rishi. Among them , Rahman and Danny Sapani had good scope in the film to perform and they had filled their part.
Anushka & Hansika shares equal screen presence and they fills the glamour quotient. Santhanam and Vivek had just done a decent comedytrack. Ultimately it is Suriya who carries the film to the winning post. He is simply fit as a cop. His passion and the way he brings an ordinary regular larger-than-life hero character alive on screen is lesson for other commercial heroes.
Verdict : Must Watch. Perfect Time-pass flick for mass movie lovers & family audiences. Rating : 4/5
