Tollywood's Rs 20 Crore Show Reel | 100 Years of Indian Cinema Celebrations

Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce (APFCC) is planning to celebrate the 100 Years of Indian Cinema on a grand scale. The chamber is going to spend Rs 20 crore for the celebrations which will be graced by big names in Southern and Bollywood Industries.

Apparently, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has granted Rs 5 crore for the grand ceremony which will be held either at Ramoji Film City or Gachibowli Stadium in the second half of July this year.

The chamber has decided to call off all the shooting during this celebrations which will be a first of its kind event in Tollywood. An exhibition displaying the photographs, costumes and other memorabilia used by noted film personalities in the Telugu Cinema will be arranged to inspire the younger generation.

Sources say, the celebrations will be highlighting the contribution of Telugu films to Indian Cinema and would stand out as the best in the country. Let's see how this costly show reel of Tollywood will be received!
