Few actors go to any extent to get into the skin of the character. Time and again, Anushka is proving that she is a through professional and wouldn't be mind undergoing makeover for the characters she play onscreen.
Reportedly, Anushka has lost 15 kilos to reprise the role of princess Rundrama Devi in her historical film which is being directed by veteran Gunasekhar. Hearing these reports, all of her admirers have gone speechless for the kind of commitment she displays even after being in the industry for so long.
It is learnt that Anushka is being paid a whooping Rs 2 crore for Rudrama Devi as her remuneration, an amount none of her counterparts down South has quoted till date. As the film is a bilingual made in Telugu and Tamil, the amount offered for the long legged lass mayn't be a big deal for the makers.
Around 50 percent of the shoot of Rundrama Devi have been completed by now and the entire shoot would be wrapped up by December this year. The post-production works is expected to take at least 2-3 months. Hence, Rundrama Devi will conquer theatres only during Summer 2014.
