Having tasted a super hit result with 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam', director srikanth addala Was successful in grabbing the rare opportunity, 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu', which starrer Victory Venkatesh and Prince Mahesh Babu. Although the movie was successful in collecting Rs.50+ crores share, based on the investment and the pre release business of the movie, the movie got less profits at the end of its full run.

Till some days ago, we heard srikanth addala would be directing the debut movie of Varun Tej, the son of Mega Brother Nagababu. However, this project has now gone to the hands of Puri Jagannadh. Now, the buzz is that srikanth addala is planning to direct a small budget movie in his own production with all new artists as the lead star cast.
