It takes one to two years for completing pre-production work of a Hollywood film. In difference, it takes mostly a month for directors like Puri Jagannath. Then, Shankar is one of those other directors who spends lot of time on script work. He simply dedicates six months just for completing screenplay of his film before going on sets with entire cast and crew. Now, another South director is joining the list. He is our ace director SS Rajamouli.
Rajamouli’s film ‘Eega’ was released in July last year. After spending time with family members for couple of months, he began working on his next project ‘Baahubali’. As per earlier plans, the movie was supposed to take off in December, 2012 but it is yet to go on floors. After partial completion of script work, the ace director auditioned for handsome guys to cast in this movie as this is a periodical drama which consists of war like action scenes.
He finalized few macho men and trained them with an expert tutor. While Fans of Prabhas, Rana and Rajamouli waiting eagerly for this movie to start are getting irritated, but it might take one more month for this delay to extend. According to sources, it will take few more weeks to complete entire pre-production works. So, some are questioning on how much time Rajamouli will be wasting more to start ‘Baahubali’?
