Film industry is abuzz that Bollywood diva and ex-heroine Sridevi is all set to debut on Telugu silver screen as a TV show host. With the news spreading everywhere now, here are the big satires that are in discussion.
Sridevi rose to popularity and stardom only after starring in Telugu movies and her pay packet to got lifted to a max here. Even now, she is heard being offered 20 lakhs per an episode to host Kaun Banega Crorepati Telugu version. However, critics are pointing out that Sridevi never had that respect and sincerity towards Telugu industry. When she received Padma award sometime back, Sridevi hosted parties for Bollywood and Kollywood, but never invited any Tollywood bee there. Also she commented that Telugu films used her glamour, while other tinsel towns gave her chance to perform. In this context it is really an insult to all Telugu people to rope in a Tamil ex-heroine settled in Mumbai for a Telugu show, feels critics.
